It was one year ago today that I was installed in Ghana Africa.
Above all, this is a day that I will never forget! Literally the stuff of fairy tales!
That said, let us all turn our attention to the Famine now threatening millions of people in Africa and contact our Senators and Congress to do something.

I watched the new Secretary of State on TV yesterday saying that we would cut aid to the starving people to show our support toward world peace by spending the money instead on expanding our military.
As a peacemaker, this doesn’t really translate.

In my heart and spirit, I can never condone advancing our military as a more immediate need than rescuing people dying from starvation.

Blessings,
Patrick McCollum
